The Institute of Commonwealth Studies (School of Advanced Study, University of London) is accepting applications for the Emeka Anyaoku Visiting Chair fellowship. It is open to distinguished academics in the field of Commonwealth Studies who currently hold a post at a University (or equivalent institution) within the Commonwealth and wish to spend between three and six consecutive months between September and June visiting the Institute.
The Visiting Chair is expected to participate fully in the scholarly activity of the Institute, including developing their own research and presenting it at the annual Emeka Anyaoku Visiting Chair Lecture and other academic events within the Institute.
The institute will cover costs associated with taking up the post, including the cost of return travel to London (economy class) from the holder’s point of origin and accommodation in London. The Visiting Chair will also receive a stipend of £1,000 per month.
Applications for the 2016-17 academic year are now closed. Applications for 2017-18 will open in 2017.
