The What Works Hub for Global Education is an international partnership dedicated to scaling education reforms with the ultimate goal of improving literacy and numeracy outcomes. It is built on the understanding that identifying successful research pilots is only part of the challenge—governments also need practical strategies to implement these reforms sustainably and effectively, reaching millions of classrooms.

As a Strategic Partner to the What Works Hub, the British Council will provide education expertise, bridge gaps between evidence creators and stakeholders, and foster collaboration among policymakers, donors, and practitioners. Through our networks and local insights, we aim to enhance the Hub’s impact on evidence-based decision-making and foundational learning outcomes.
