How well do you or your team communicate? Sloan Management Review notes that communication plays a critical role in building successful teams. An individual or a team that communicates well will always outperform others that struggle to communicate.

Whether you’re an early professional or a team leader, connect with our experts and bring out the best of your team working and interpersonal skills with a new series of workshops in May. The workshops will facilitate discussions, share techniques, ideas and practical tools that can be applied immediately.

Workshop fee: INR 1200 per participant per workshop.

Special discounted fee of INR 950 per participant per workshop for the British Council library members.

Participants will also receive a digital certificate on completion of the workshop.

The Teamster

The term Teamster dates back to 1903, when horse-drawn wagons were used for deliveries. Since the driver managed the team pulling the load, he was referred to as a ‘Teamster’. We have moved away from horse-drawn wagons but most of us are responsible for managing a team.

Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be better able to:

  • change the ‘cultural glasses’ and to make the best out of a multicultural team
  • understand the value of a diversified team
  • learn how to keep their team motivated and inspired despite the challenges
  • learn how to get their teams’ creative juices flowing.

Day: Saturday
Date: 22 May 2021

Time: 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. | 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.
