This webinar will introduce participants to the topic of teacher expertise, including what it is and what we know about it from research around the world. The lead presenter, Dr Jason Anderson, will present some of the findings from his recent participatory research project involving eight expert Indian teachers of English, all of whom work in government secondary schools.
The webinar will then focus on the continuing professional development of these eight teachers – what they did to keep improving, challenging themselves and learning from their work. In four breakout rooms, the eight teachers will present on different suggestions for how you can continue your own development in ways that helped them, supported by further suggestions from the British Council team.
There will be time for questions and interaction, both with the eight teachers and with Jason.
