This interactive workshop is designed to sensitise educators at all levels to the importance of assessment and refresh their understanding of assessment methods and strategies. In this workshop teachers will not only develop their theoretical understanding of some key concepts of assessment but will also take away three practical techniques that can be employed to use assessment for learning in a variety of teaching-learning contexts. By engaging teachers in hands-on, participative activities, the workshop will encourage them to adapt and implement these techniques in their own classrooms, making assessment a more integral and reflective part of their teaching practice.
