Powerful communication of ideas and information is one of the key tenets to success in business – yet how many times do we finish a presentation and feel 100% confident that our audience has grasped exactly what we want them to? And how many times have we listened to a presentation and wondered exactly what the take home message was supposed to be?

This training is aimed at any professional who wants to improve their ability to deliver their message clearly, concisely and memorably whilst inspiring their listeners. You could be a small business owner pitching your ideas at a networking conference or a manager charged with delivering important and complex information to your workforce. This workshop will help you focus on your audience and message, utilising a range of exciting, practical storytelling techniques to shape your ideas into a powerful, coherent narrative.

This workshop highlights the value of narrative thinking. It will teach attendees how to consider story-structures when preparing presentations, empower speakers with spontaneity and unlock the secrets of story as a means of engagement. Expect the day to be thought provoking, inspiring and interactive. We will:

  • explore the value of stories, and why humans engage with them so readily;
  • examine how storytelling can function on different scales within a presentation;
  • deconstruct great speakers to unlock their secret;
  • discover the most valuable, practical storytelling tools from Tim Ralphs years of experience as a professional performer and try them out in an intimate learning environment.
