The Reading Challenge this year is on the theme “The BIG Friendly Read” which introduces children to a wide variety of books from the British Council Library.
About Big Friendly Read
The Big Friendly Read features some of Roald Dahl's best-loved characters and the amazing artwork of his principal illustrator, Sir Quentin Blake. The challenge encourages children to discover new books by exploring similar themes found in Dahl’s books across the best contemporary children's writing. The BFR also encourages each child to maintain a collector’s folder which features themes such as invention, mischief and friendship as explored in Roald Dahl's books. The challenge will begin by fourth week of November 2016 .
