British Council is proud to present an introduction to sustainable fashion and textiles by Bhaavya Goenka, Iro Iro.
IRO IRO is a circular design collective based in Jaipur. An emerging circular fashion brand, they are finalists of the Circular Design Challenge by Lakme Fashion Week. Last year, Iro Iro was awarded the New Landscapes grant by British Council to develop an app for repairing garments with traditional rafoogari (darning) skills in collaboration with Repair Café, Wales and Circular Design India.
British Council has recently announced its New Landscapes R&D grant scheme programme to facilitate collaborations between India and UK designers, entrepreneurs and SMEs in the UK and India.
