CREATIVE JOURNEYS - LECTURE BY BENYAMIN

Creative Journeys is a series of talks that bring emerging and experienced writers, filmmakers, performing artists and visual artists to speak about the influences, impulses, processes and thinking that have shaped the art they produce.

Malayalam author Benyamin's talk will be anecdotal, exploring Benyamin’s journey across different genres of writing, the impulses which set him on the path to writing in the first place, important influences, successes and failures. The talk will be interspersed with short readings from his works in English and, if possible, Malayalam as well.

MOVIE SCREENING AND INTERACTIVE DISCUSSION

To mark the birth anniversary of the famous English novelist and poet Emily Brontë, we will be screening the movie based on her only novel. The screening will be followed by an interactive discussion.
