Join us for a special panel discussion with British Council Youth Programme Alumni. This virtual event is free and tailored exclusively for individuals passionate about climate-related global issues, environment advocates, and professionals working in the environment field.
This informative session will discuss pressing environmental issues and answer questions such as:
- What is COP (Conference of the Parties) and what's its purpose?
- What happens in these annual conferences?
- What is the youth’s contribution?
What to expect?
- Global connections: Interact with Youth Climate Ambassadors and environment leads in other countries. These youth have consistently been at the forefront of climate activism, from grassroots movements to global campaigns, raising awareness about the urgent need for action to combat the impacts of climate change.
- Discussion theme: This session will be about the key outcomes of COP 29 and how it emphasises the role of young people in decision-making processes. The session will showcase the perspectives and ideas of young people advocating for stronger policies and pushing for ambitious commitments from all stakeholders.
- More than a panel discussion: After listening to their conversations, enjoy sharing your stories and raise your concerns.
- Expert moderation: The session consists of a Moderator and three (03) panellists from British Council Youth Alumni, ensuring engaging and insightful dialogue.
