Learn to think critically 11 Feb 2017 , 10.00 hrs to 12.00 hrs 5 and 8 years INR 500 It's very important for the young learners to learn the ability to think clearly and rationally in their primary years. Critical thinking skills is one of the important skills listed in 21st century skills worldwide. It's required to do any work successfully. Thinking skills aren't restricted to a particular subject area. Thsi workshop aims at tapping the thinking skills of individual participants giving them a stimulus to take it further in their day to day activities. Some activities and orientations during the workshop will require participants to collaborate with one another.
Do you see what i see? 11 Feb 2017 , 15.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs 8 and 12 years INR 500 Once upon a time, six blind men went to a zoo and wove a tale to remember. Join me on a fun-filled ride and see how different people see the same thing differently. It's all about perspective. Let's learn to accept and respect differences and opinions. the storytelling session culminates into a paper mask making activity.

Storytelling through candies 18 Feb 2017 , 14.00 hrs to 16.00 hrs 7 and 9 years INR 500 Learn the art of storytelling through candies. This workshop will help the students to create their own imaginative candies and then write a story on their favourite one. a unique workshop that will help your young ones to explore the medium of writing through the exciting world of candies.
Interesting idioms 25 Feb 2017 , 10.00 hrs to 12.00 hrs 9 and 14 years INR 500 Idioms are an important part of everyday english. They may not always make sense and so in this workshop we will familiarise ourselves with their meaning and usage of some. 
Super synonyms 25 Feb 2017 , 14.00 hrs to 16.00 hrs 8 and 12 years INR 500 Synonyms helps us express our thoughts accurately and appropriately. these closely related words create a clear picture in the mind of the listener and the reader. It's the difference between grin, smile or laugh.


Registration is on a first-come first-served basis and starts on 30th January 2017. All workshops are open to family and premium members of the British Council Library. Registration fee for workshop is not refundable or transferable.
