The education landscape is rapidly changing in India with recent policy reforms and growing need for international education among youth in India. British Council organised a national seminar on the theme of Online, distance and digitally delivered learning (ODDL) as an alternative to traditional means to learning with strong focus on quality learning experience. The event witnessed participation from about 200 senior policy makers and academic leaders and during the event we awarded 7 Going Global Partnership ODDL Grants to facilitate collaboration opportunities between UK and Indian HEIs in FY2024-25.
 
British Council collaborated with QS to participate in the QS India Summit 2025 in Goa and delivered a university roundtable with senior policy makers and academic leaders from UK and India and a masterclass on facilitating Internationalisation of Higher Education. The summit had about 250 participants comprising of academic leaders, practitioners from the TNE with 13 UK universities participating to explore collaboration opportunities with Indian HEIs.
