SPARK – The 100K Collective is an ambitious initiative to strengthen skills, leadership, and networks for women entrepreneurs across India. The British Council has partnered with the Women’s Collective Forum and the Alliance for Global Good – Gender Equity and Equality to deliver this programme at scale. The initiative aims to reach 100,000 women, particularly in underserved regions, by addressing key barriers to economic participation, including limited English proficiency, digital skills gaps, and restricted access to professional networks.
Delivered through a phased approach, the programme integrates large-scale orientation workshops, structured online learning, and Communities of Practice to enable continued learning and peer exchange. Participants will develop practical English communication skills for business, build digital capabilities to grow their enterprises, and strengthen leadership through collaboration and shared learning. By enabling women to engage more effectively with markets, institutions, and opportunities, the programme contributes to inclusive economic growth and aligns with India’s broader commitment to gender equity.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on 17 March 2026, marking a shared commitment between partners to scale impact and support women’s entrepreneurship across the country.
