My practice is interdisciplinary and research-led, working across drawing, sculpture, kinetic installations, and computational systems. I investigate how movement, pattern, and time function as forms of knowledge, drawing from cultural memory and eastern knowledge systems in dialogue with contemporary technologies to explore continuity, emergence, and relational structures.
About the Artwork:
Title: Nadi Untitled Sculpture
Medium: Plywood and Wood Stain
Derived from motion data captured during yogic practice, the Nadi sculptures translate movement and breath into spatial form. Each asana produces a distinct sculptural geometry, developed through parametric techniques to move from digital generation to fabrication.
The works function as data sculptures, materialising embodied information through generative form. The posture embodied in this sculpture is Prasarita Padottonasana, which is also wide legged forward bend.
