Feroza Bharda is a contemporary artist whose practice centres on process, repetition, and material transformation.

Feroza completed her B.V.A in Fine Arts from Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU), Baroda, and a M.A.F.A from Chelsea College of Art and Design, University of the Arts London (UAL). Her time in London marked a significant shift in her artistic perspective, moving her practice away from representational and image-led approaches toward a more process-driven introspective.

Following her return to India, she resonated with the International Baccalaureate philosophy, which connected with her own educational experiences abroad. She has taught the IBDP Visual Arts programme for over five years and continues to work as an examiner. Feroza has participated in group exhibitions in both India and London, with works held in private collections across both countries. Alongside her practice as an artist, she currently works as an IBDP examiner while balancing life as a full-time parent.

About the Artwork:

Title: Sublime
Medium: 2D Painting

My works emerge through repetitive movement undertaken in a meditative state, sustained until a process of metamorphosis begins to take place. At a certain threshold, the movement appears to redirect itself, almost pushing against its own course and disrupting obsession and control. This is when the process takes over undoing the conscious learning.
