The Harry Potter Experience - An event on Harry Potter for Children

What will you learn and discover? During this two hour event, the children will be shown some clips from a couple of Harry Potter movies, they will discuss the characters and then create characters who are Indian and British and who are in a magic school in India. Children will explore older Indian magic techniques and create their own spell and write anecdotes where they use their own spell and know of magic. Methodology: The event will be activity oriented. It will consist of creative work, language activities on speaking and writing . Children will be asked to work individually and in groups. Date and timings: 14 October 2023 9 to 14 years – 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Registration fee: Members: INR 500. Click here to register. Non-members: INR 700. Ordeal By Innocence - An event on Agatha Christie for adults |
What will you learn and discover? Participants will be shown clips from the movie Ordeal By Innocence. There will be a discussion on Agatha Christie and her writing style. Using the characters in this movie, the participants will give a different ending to the story and to live up to that they will create different events using the same characters. Methodology: The event will be activity oriented. It will consist of creative work, language activities on speaking and writing . Participants will be asked to work individually and in groups.
