About Aftab Seth

Aftab Seth is a distinguished Indian diplomat, Rhodes Scholar, academic, and poet, recognised for his remarkable contributions across diplomacy, education, and literature.

He has served as India’s Ambassador to Greece, Vietnam, Japan and Micronesia.

An alumnus of St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, and Christ Church, Oxford, he has held prestigious academic roles, including Professor and Director at the Global Security Research Institute, Keio University, Japan.

Deeply committed to intercultural engagement, he also chairs the Global Indian International Schools in Japan and the Yoga Organization of Japan.

His poetry is celebrated for its lyrical clarity, emotional resonance, and global perspective, offering readers an enriching and reflective literary experience.
