Panel discussion on Food as a Living Archive of the City’s Diverse Cultures and Histories 

This event aims to explore Chennai’s vibrant and layered food heritage through storytelling and discussion. The event is curated for food enthusiasts, history buffs and heritage lovers, it offers an opportunity to reflect on how food carries memory, tradition, and identity across generations and how everyday culinary practices serve as dynamic archives of the city’s diverse communities. 

Through engaging narratives and personal journeys, this panel will delve into tiffin cultures, street foods, and festive dishes that form the collective culinary identity of Chennai.

Panel discussion on The Spirit of Sports and Madras 

This panel discussion celebrates Chennai’s dynamic and inclusive sports culture. As part of our Madras Day 2025 celebrations, this event will spotlight community-driven athletic practices, stories of resilience, and the evolution of alternative and para-sports in the city. It builds on our ongoing work in creating accessible, community-oriented cultural spaces and fostering local voices across disciplines. 

From Parkour to para-sports and Ultimate Frisbee, this event brings together sports practitioners and advocates who redefine how sport is experienced, shared, and taught. Audiences will hear first-hand accounts of breaking barriers, building communities, and challenging sporting norms.
