A Statement of Purpose (SOP) is a crucial component of the study abroad application process, offering the admissions committee valuable insight into the candidate’s background, motivations, and reasons for choosing a specific course and institution. This session, led by University of Exeter, will provide an overview of the process, timelines and requirements for undergraduate and postgraduate admission to prestigious UK universities. There will be a focus on how to best prepare your application materials and SOP and what aspects selective universities are focused on. It will also consider how to showcase your academic achievements and subject interests to stand out and highlight how to present your successes beyond the classroom. We'll finish by sharing some information about what its like to study at the University of Exeter, a leading Russell Group university in the south west.
