Culture Fridays | What Are You Hiding Under Your Bed?

Join Sepake Angiama, Artistic Director of the Institute of International Visual Arts (iniva), London, and Rattanamol Singh Johal, art historian and curator, for a thought-provoking conversation on artists, institutions and archival practices.

Drawing on iniva's pioneering archive project, they will explore what archives reveal, whose stories they preserve, and how they continue to shape our understanding of art, history and culture. Together, they will reflect on the significance and realities of working with archives, asking: What are we collecting, who are we collecting it for, and what role do archives play in contemporary artistic practice?

Presented by the British Council in partnership with Experimenter Curators' Hub and India Art Fair, this conversation brings together leading voices to explore archives as dynamic spaces for research, dialogue and new ways of engaging with contemporary art.
