About the Film
Set in Allahabad (now Prayagraj), the story follows Asha, a young girl navigating class, culture, and identity. With stunning visuals by Dusan Todorovic and a moving score by Andrew T. Mackay, the film explores themes of love, belonging, and the search for home.
Live Music Performance
The evening opens with a live performance by Olivier Award-nominated composer Andrew T. Mackay, featuring excerpts from the film’s soundtrack performed by musicians from Delhi and Kolkata. The performance will also include several songs from the film sung by Viay Das.
