British Council, the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities, is present at the 46th edition of the Kolkata Book Fair, also known as the Boi Mela. As the event is visited by people from every walk of life – students, avid readers, poets, authors, artists etc., British Council is ready to accommodate the needs of everyone. From connecting people and ideas from the UK and India to providing information about the library and studying in the UK, the British Council pavilion covers it all.
Visitors will have the opportunity to watch performances by UK artists, attend book launches, take part in activities, quizzes and workshops for children and adults with attractive gifts and more.
