The British Council in Kolkata, in partnership with Wordphonics Publication invites you to an engaging evening with Kolkata's much-loved "British jamai" Chef Shaun Kenworthy as he shares his unique journey of falling in love with the city and everything it has to offer through his book - Curry, Chaos, Romance: A British Chef in Calcutta. Through personal anecdotes, humour and heartfelt reflections, he'll explore the flavours, traditions and everyday moments that make Kolkata unlike anywhere else. From memorable meals and cultural discoveries to relationships and belonging, this conversation promises a fresh perspective on the City of Joy through the eyes of someone who has embraced it as his own. Whether you're a lifelong Kolkattan, new to the city, or simply curious about its many charms, come along for an evening of stories, laughter and conversation.
