British Council and the University of Reading invite you to an engaging book discussion with Abhay K, distinguished author, poet, and diplomat, as he presents his latest work – a national bestseller, Nalanda: How It Changed the World.

This insightful session will explore the legacy of Nalanda Mahavihara - one of the world’s earliest and most renowned centres of learning and its contributions to science, mathematics, philosophy, art, architecture, and poetry. Broad in scope and rich in history, the book takes readers on a journey through millennia, revealing how Nalanda shaped intellectual traditions across the globe.

The discussion will be moderated by Dhanya Madhavan Nair, curator of the "Literature Page," a writer and translator.
