Dhanush is an emerging visual artist and theatre-maker, with an interest in intergenerational and intercultural approaches to making. He has curated the Movers and Shapers Theatre and Arts Festival in August 2025, written the play, 'The Startup', (ACT II Festival 2023) described as a 'standout' piece with ‘solid structure’ in the ACT II Festival and has facilitated multilingual and intergenerational theatre workshops across India and the UK, and more recently with Bangalore Little Theatre.

He has also been an Associate Lecturer in Mathematics at University of the Arts London, and has worked in education and research in the higher education sector during and after his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the UK, further demonstrating his connection to higher education in the UK.

Title: Memories of Movers and Shapers

The Movers and Shapers Arts and Theatre Festival was a platform to highlight international student stories in the UK and to demonstrate and further the connection between older people in the UK and international students, and was held in London from the 27th of August to the 1st of September across venues such as W3 Gallery and University of the Third Age. This publication compiles pieces from the festival, with more than 20+ stories from international students as well as people from the UK, and also contains written reflections and sonnets, as well as a photography series of the city Bengaluru, highlighting the cultural connections between the UK and Bengaluru.
