About the Artwork:
Title: Draping Draupadi
Medium: Digital Print
This series examines the saree as an object of lived experience rather than fashion. Across three digital illustrations, it becomes a domestic tool, a vessel of inheritance, and a means of economic agency. The accompanying AR poems, accessible through Snapchat, reveal narratives embedded within these everyday gestures, positioning the saree as a symbol of resilience and the ongoing reconstruction of postcolonial identity.
