Scottish Dance Theatre

Scottish Dance Theatre, Scotland’s national contemporary dance company enthralled audiences on its first ever tour of India.

Combining world-class dance theatre performances with an inclusive and innovative outreach programme, Scottish Dance Theatre presented dance that is moving, thought provoking, and life-enhancing.

They brougt to India three acclaimed choreographies: Luxuria by Liv Lorent, Dog by Hofesh Shechter and Drift by James Wilton. Their performances have been described as risk-taking, collaborative, nurturing, exciting and heart-achingly beautiful.

They reached out to school audiences, non-dance teachers, underprivileged children, and differently-abled children, working with new and established dance organisations on the ground.
