I have paid the IELTS fee through cash at ICICI Bank, what are the next steps?
Candidates are required to upload the deposit slip duly stamped and acknowledged by ICICI bank in the candidate area with three days of registration. Preparing for the IELTS test

By when will I receive the complimentary IELTS preparation & practice book ?
You will receive the IELTS Preparation Book within 14 days after you have successfully registered and paid. Please ensure that you provide complete postal address along with post code this will enable the courier to deliver the IELTS preparation book in time. Before the test day

Can I request for a change the schedule of my speaking test?
We regret, we will not be able to reschedule the alloted slots for the speaking tests. The schedules for speaking tests are system generated and we request you to adhere to this schedule. We will not be able to accomodate requests for rescheduling speaking tests.
I need to postpone / cancel my application? Will I receive the refund for the fees?
If you cancel your test or request a transfer of the IELTS exam up to five weeks prior to the scheduled test date, the test centre will charge an administration fee. For more information kindly go read our Refund and transfer policy
Can I update my personal details (gender, contact details, DOB etc.) after I have registered?
Gender, Address, Phone number and DOB details can be changed upto 30 days prior to the exam date. The request has to be emailed to .In case the change is requested within 30 days of the exam date, the candidate can make the changes on the test day on the attendance sheet.
I have entered a wrong passport number at the time of registration?
Passport number can be changed upto 30 days prior to the exam date. Candidate will be required to send the scanned copy of their passport.

If the change is requested within 30 days, Candidate may not be able to take the exam on the registered exam date and will have to take paid postponement to the next available date (subject to approval).

When will I receive venue details for my IELTS exam? 
information about the venue and schedule of the IELTS exam is available on Candidate Area. Kindly login using your registered email id and IELTS reference number. You will receive an an email at your registered email id confirming your venue details and schedule of your IELTS, five days prior to the exam date.

Test results and post test services

When will I receive my IELTS results?
Your Test Results will be available online on the 13th day. The Test Form will be received by you within 14 days from the date of result declaration if you have provided a complete and courier accessible address at the time of registration. For more information please visit:
I want to send my IELTS scores to the Universities I am applying to, can British Council help me?

We can arrange for additional original copies (up to a maximum of five) to be posted to receiving institutions (e.g. universities, immigration officers, etc.). If you would like us to do this, please include the relevant details during registration for IELTS with the British Council. For more information on Additional Test Report Forms( ATRF) please visit under 'Test Report Forms for institutions' section.

Can I apply for replacement or additional  Test Report Form (TRF)?
Candidates are enttiled to only one copy of the Test Report Form; unless you have applied for Canadian Immigration and Citizenship and can provide us with the relevant documents, you can avail another copy of the TRF.
My result is released, but I have not received my test result form. What should I do?
If your result has been released, you will receive the TRF at your registered address within 14 days. Incase you have not received it within 14 days, please contact us immediately.
What do I do If I have a suggestion or complaint to make regarding an incident on the test day?
Though we try our best to deliver a good exam experience to all our candidates across the globe, you may have a concern to share with us. We request you to highlight for any complaints made/concerns shared, on the test day itself.
