Leading Core Skills – Duncan Wilson, Director English, India
Saturday 6 October 2018 | 10:30 am - 11:30 am
This session introduces the British Council’s six core skills with the aim of raising awareness and deepening school leaders’ understanding of why these core skills and competencies are important for their students. We will also establish a connection between effective leadership practices and the core skills highlighting how they can positively influence the provision of teaching and learning in the classroom. The latter half of the session will introduce some appropriate tools for school leaders to monitor and assess how well these skills are presently being taught so they are able to identify opportunities to integrate core skills into their school’s curriculum.
