The Teacher Education Planning Handbook draws on the British Council’s extensive experience of participating in change projects in India and worldwide. Join us as we launch this exciting new resource, aimed at those responsible for leading, managing, planning, designing and providing professional development support for teachers.
The British Council has over 80 years’ experience of the design and delivery of high-quality teacher development programmes across the world. In 2017 we are marking ten years of engagement with state governments in India. We have worked in partnership to provide training and development opportunities to over 9000 teacher educators and 900,000 teachers, leading to measurable impact and change in the classroom.
The event will include an introduction to the handbook, a panel discussion and a networking reception.
