  • Are you available on 22 and 23 February to attend a workshop in Delhi or 21 and 22 February in Hyderabad? (please note that unfortunately we cannot support travel costs)

Our experience shows that many teachers have doubts about whether using learners’ home languages when teaching the English language or when using English medium instruction is a good idea (it is!). They also wonder how they can use their learners’ home languages as a resource to improve learning (you can!). 

In this two-day workshop, you will explore various principles, opportunities and solutions relating to using multilingual approaches in the classroom. You will try out a variety of activities which you can take away and use with your learners. You will create an action plan to help you implement the ideas in your classroom and receive follow-up support from our trainers once you are back at school. You will also receive a certificate of participation.

If you would like to attend the workshop, please complete the application form by 8 February 2019. We will inform all selected participants by 13 February 2019.
