This workshop is designed to enable children to enjoy and engage with the various joys and forms that poetry can offer. From lyrical ballads to nonsense verse, from acrostic poems to haiku and shape poems, they will be taken through a behind-the-scenes journey to explore this fascinating method of expression. Participants will also be encouraged to look within and pen their own verses, led by a variety of introspective games, quizzes and activities.
DATE & TIME: 21 - 22 MAY, 16:00 - 18:30
The workshop will spread over two consecutive days and will progress from simple exercises and forms to more complex and detailed activities.
