We are back again to enjoy and celebrate work of one of our all-time favourites and beloved writers: Roald Dahl.

• Key texts including The Twits, Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The BFG, The Witches, James and the Giant Peach, Fantastic Mr Fox, George’s Marvellous Medicine.
• Dahl’s inventiveness with language.
• Dahl’s creation of interesting and unusual characters.
• Introduction to Roald Dahl's poems.

Acitivity flow

Introduction to Roald Dahl and his stories. Recite a poem from Roald Dahl book. Make a character wheel .	Introduction to Roald Dahl and his stories. Choose any one monologue from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and act it out.
