About the film
British Council and BFI present the Shakespere on Film collection, a series of screenings of prominent Shakespeare film titles across the country. Directed by Richard Loncraine, this 1995 masterpiece features Maggie Smith, Jim Broadbent and a young Robert Downey Jr in their most memorable and captivating performances.
The film is based on Richard Eyre's acclaimed stage adapatation.
