British Council India is organising pre-departure briefings for Indian students who have received an offer (conditional/ unconditional) from a UK institution and shall be leaving for the UK in August/ September 2017 to begin their course. These sessions will provide guidance and advice about important dos and don’ts while they prepare for student life in the UK. The briefing will also give students an opportunity to meet and network with fellow students who have enrolled to study at a UK institution.
The briefing will include an interactive session with recently returned UK alumni who will share their exciting experiences in the UK as well as a session on ‘Tier 4 student visa applications and related procedures’ which will be delivered by officers from UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) at each session in each city listed below. The briefing will also include a session on student life in the UK which will include information about UK culture, food, transportation in the UK, accommodation options and more.
