About the workshop

A unique visual art workshop where participants will first explore the art of drawing conventional self portraits. Further using the medium of collage in the manner of participants will create open interpretations and less conventional versions of portraiture.

The participants will learn about two famous artist known for drawing self-portraits and about their work.

  • Introduction to drawing with charcoal. 
  • Creativity and building confidence to work in a group, present and accept ideas and feedback.
  • Observation and Communication through Art.

Time: 10:00 hours to 14:00 hours

Age group: 7 years to 12 years 

Registration fees: INR 2000 per participant

Registration is on a first-come first-served basis. The workshop is open to all the members and non-members of the British Council Library. Registration fee for workshop is not refundable or transferable.
