Workshop overview

What better way to celebrate 50 years of the Man Booker Prize than to engage in some creative writing, guided by the experiences and thoughts on writing by a few of the winners and those short listed for the coveted prize. Apart from being a creative exercise, creative writing is also liberating for the writer.

Learning Objectives

  • At the end of this workshop you would understand what creative writing is 
  • Be introduced to some of the methods of ensuring the capturing of the interest of the reader
  • Look at winning ways of getting your piece of writing done
  • Challenge yourself to think imaginatively and differently to make your writing an exciting project for yourself
