How to Write a Book Review

Do you love reading but struggle to express your opinions and critique about a book?

British Council and HarperCollins bring to you a workshop on ‘How to write a book review’. The workshop will be conducted by Swati Daftuar, the commissioning editor for popular fiction at HarperColllins India. Swati is in charge of commissioning and publishing books across various genres, from romance, thriller, mystery, sci-fi, to speculative and mythological fiction. Previously, Swati has worked with Buzzfeed India as their Essays Editor, commissioning long form and deep-dive stories that dealt with everything from personal experiences to ideas, and issues at large. Swati started her career as a features writer for The Hindu, where she worked for six years, covering literature and handling the newspaper's books supplement, The Literary Review. She was also a part of the core committee for The Hindu's literary festival, Lit for Life.
