What does an alien with two mouths and sixty-two legs eat? What does a monster learn at school? Can a ghost eat its own head? Join author Shweta Taneja on a spatial rollercoaster to discover the world of fantasy and science fiction and write your own story that's teeming of crawlies, monsters, spaceships and ghosts.

In this workshop children will:

• Explore science fiction and fantasy authors, learn about fantasy writing and worldbuilding. 

• Participate in group discussion and team play through activities

• Write and illustrate their own stories

Time: 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

Fee: INR 300 per child

Suitable age is 9 to 13 years

About Shweta Taneja:

Shweta Taneja is a fantasy author, comic writer and journalist based in India. She's written seven books and two hundred articles in a career spanning fourteen years. She's a Charles Wallace India Writing Fellow and was shortlisted for Best Writer Award in ComicCon India for The Skull Rosary. 

Her graphic novel Krishna Defender of Dharma is part of CBSE and Kendriya Vidyalaya Recommended Lists. Her novels include Ghost Hunters of Kurseong, the bestselling The Matsya Curse and Cult of Chaos (Anantya Tantrist Mysteries), and How to Steal a Ghost @ Manipal.
