Mindfulness at Work

Mindfulness refers to bringing one’s attention to present experience on a moment to moment basis characterized by curiosity, non-judgment, and acceptance all the time.

This session will invite participants to experience the Observing Self by contacting the present moment with openness, curiosity, allowing, non-preference and compassion.

Mindfulness helps you:

  • Become familiar with the workings of your mind.
  • Notice when you begin to get caught in old habits of the mind that reactivate downward mood spirals.
  • Notice small beauties and pleasures in the world around you instead of living in your head.
  • Be kind to yourself instead of wishing things were different or driving yourself to meet impossible goals.
  • Accept yourself as you are, rather than judging or battling with yourself all the time.
