About the Event:  A session to help new members and potential members navigate and enjoy the online resources available to British Council library members. A first look at our e-resources like Zinio, Instantflix, Ebrary, Academic One file, Comics Plus, Atomatic Training, JSTOR, PressReader, Oneclick digital and many more, would provide hands-on guidance on how to access these resources online. The aim of this session is to support members make the most of our e-resources and e-services.

About the Event: Guess who realized that 1 minute is too short for videos? You are right! Instagram finally found a way for us to upload and view videos that are longer than just 60 seconds. After stories completely changed the way we Instagram, one can only wonder what IGTV has in store!

Join us as we discuss the answers to important questions, to understand how IGTV has changed the way we share, and how can you make the most of this feature.

Public Speaking and Drama on Bullying: Workshop Friday 20 July 2018, 5pm to 7pm  Entry is free

About the Workshop: A 2-hour session for 8-13 year old children in which they will read aloud and discuss an extract from a popular award-winning book, and enjoy drama warm up games and exercises like 'Hot Seating', all leading to build an understanding of bullying.

Facilitator: Eager Beavers is a reading, public speaking and drama school for kids above 6 yrs, founded by Unnati Ved, who has a qualitification in 8th Grade Speech and Drama from the prestigious Trinity College, London.

About the Workshop: The workshop is for 6-8 year old children, where they will:

1. Read an extract from award winning book 

2. Create their own version of a story and present it

3. Understand sticky situations with examples and learn how to tackle them 

4. Take part in their first debate
