About the movie - Coriolanus

A 2011 adaptation of the play directed by Ralph Fiennes in his directorial debut, presents a contemporary day alternate for Rome, where riots are in progress after stores of grain are withheld from citizens and civil liberties are constrained.

In this contemporary version Ralph Fiennes has created a vibrant interpretation of Coriolanus with political relevance.
