Workshop Overview

This workshop leads participants through an interactive discussion on the widening variety of skills that young professionals need to function in a globalised work space. Young people are joining organisations with high levels of technical skills as well as strongly defined personal goals. However, these skills are not enough for them to work effectively or even efficiently. They need to consciously add value to their profiles, keep their specialisations updated and add new expertise to their skill sets.

What will you learn and discover?

  • Various  dimensions needed in today’s world of work – such as problem solving, working in teams, mentoring and more
  • Identify the gaps in learning that need to be addressed.
  • The way forward – What is the help we need? Where will we get this help? The group will together find out what needs to be done and how we can do it
