  • Clear about the structure of IELTS listening exam and its assessment criteria
  • Aware of the different types of questions
  • Familiar with test strategies (both question specific and general) and how to teach them
  • Able to decide how much time to devote to teaching strategies and actual listening practice
  • Able to do some IELTS listening/teaching practice
