Big Draw: Storytelling through Dance Movement! 5 – 7 January, 11.00 hrs to 13.00 hrs 7 and 9 years

Articulation is a tool that needs to be developed in young minds. Through the medium of dance, drama, music and movement, this workshop aims to develop children's thinking, creative and interpersonal skills. Dance brings positive synergy and develops confidence. Drama adds spark and flare to their story narration, improving enunciation, articulation and comprehension. Music gives them the additional creative skills to build their point of view. Movement provides a platform for execution of stories.

The Case of the Missing Tiger Cub! 7 January, 11.00 hrs to 13.00 hrs 7 and 11 years Free Join us for a fun-filled experience of storytelling and colouring activities with author Kalpana Subramanian and illustrator Prashant Miranda, whose book 'The Case of the Missing Tiger Cub' takes you on an adventure through the Indian subcontinent with Rainbow Raghavan and Arrowgirl in their search for a missing tiger cub. This storytelling workshop is designed to help participants become aware of and appreciate the splendor of our forests and animals.

The British Council in association with Reading Agency UK and Arts Council of England is celebrating 100 years of the world's favourite storyteller, Roald Dahl with the launch of Big Friendly Read - Reading Challenge. Reading Challenge is UK's biggest programme for developing reading habits in children from classes 2 to 8. Join us as we encourage children to read the latest and most popular books from the UK, with incentives, activities and events.

Picture Stories! 28 January, 10.00 hrs to 12.00 hrs 8 and 11 years 500 (members only) Children get to discover their creative genius by designing and creating their own picture stories using colourful scrap books. 
100 New Words 28 January, 15.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs 8 and 11 years 500 (members only) Children learn new words everyday. This workshop will help them to learn more age appropriate words, to make their language more eloquent and expression of the their thoughts more accurate.
