British Council, Bengaluru, invites you to a book reading session for children.
The session will focus on the book Black Beauty, an 1877 novel by English author Anna Sewell. The discussion with kids will revolve around their favourite animals, including pets and the ones that they have met in a zoo or sanctuary, and how far would they go to ensure their safety and well-being, for the book was a tribute to the horse who made travelling possible for the author when she was crippled due to a disease. We hope to help children understand the value of becoming true protectors of animals and nature at large, which will make them environmental heroes!
