ABOUT THE EVENT

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was born on 22nd May, 1859. He was a doctor, who became a successful writer. Though his body of work includes novels, short stories and poems, Arthur Conan Doyle is best known for the 60 stories he wrote about Sherlock Holmes. Even after 125 years after his first appearance, Sherlock Holmes remains the most popular fictional detective in history.  

"BEYOND SHERLOCK" is a tribute to this master storyteller and his immortal creation. Enjoy an hour of stories, anecdotes, facts and trivia about Sherlock and his creator. Become Sherlock yourself - use logic and power of observation to solve some mysteries and have lots of fun. Open for children from 8 to 14 years. 

ABOUT THE PERFORMER

Shreya Biswas is a member of the Bangalore Storytelling Society and a popular storyteller/performer who has trained under some renowned performers in the art of storytelling. She is the founder of ‘Katharangam’ and an advisor of the International Storytelling Festival in Chennai. She has given regular performances at Atta Galatta, Rangoli Metro Art Centre and Jagriti, She uses her stories to train teachers/trainers at schools and children with special needs.
