Beating Plastic Pollution - Simple ways to minimize plastic in our lives

On the occasion of the World Environment Day, British Council, Bengaluru invites you to a talk on Beating Plastic Pollution - simple ways to minimize plastic in our lives by Ullas Anand

The talk will focus on small simple 'projects' that can be taken up around homes to reduce plastic pollution, connect with nature, and appreciate lifeforms that live around us. The session will start with a primer to biodiversity and help us understand life forms with whom we share our city. We will learn more about the common birds, butterflies, trees and insects that live with us in Bengaluru. This appreciation will help us focus on simple projects that can reduce our use of plastics and in turn live a more sustainable life.

This talk hopes to help you further your interest in activities like birdwatching, wildlife photography, nature books & writing, camping and other pursuits — while leading a more responsible lifestyle.
