2018 marks 70 years of the British Council in India. So join us with your friends and family for a host of fun and exciting activities, workshops, performances and much more and stand a chance to win exciting prizes!

Parkour workshop Join us for a fun workshop with Parkour Circle, Chennai. The organisation actively involves people with varied backgrounds, interests and professions to share their passion for Parkour, and has worked with UK’s Urban Playground Team. 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.


Digital marketing workshop Enrich your marketing skills with great insights on content marketing, digital advertising and UX design led by Vikas Chawla, co-founder of Social Beat 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Music and dance performance

Exhilarating music performances by Anil Srinivasan, Paul Jacob, Vivek Anand and Saroja Ganapathy Rajhesh Vaidhya , Sumesh Narayanan and the Perimelam drummers led by Samraj and accompanied by UK musicians George Hadow, Maarteh Visser and many more.

Experience a powerful contemporary theatre dance performance by all girls' ensemble - High Kicks.

Parent - Child activity Parents and children will come together to understand art and illustrations in children's books and bond with each other through the activities. 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.
Cyber bullying workshop Session will be facilitated by Sugata Roy from UNICEF. 11.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
Business communication skills workshop The art of negotiation for working professionals and students. 12.00 p.m. to 1.00 p.m.
Storytelling session A session to engage the creativity of your child through illustrative methods. 12.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m.
Business communication skills workshop A workshop on developing your communication skills at the workplace. 1.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.
Creating Heroines workshop All things comic and graphic novels with the travelling Reading Room exhibit, a talk and zine making workshop on Creating Heroines and Women and Gender in Comics by Kadak Collective. 2.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Ceramic workshop Discover the art of making ceramics with clay as you learn more about this fascinating material and the different processes involved in making clay/ceramic art. 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.
B-Boying battle Watch a power-packed dance battle by B-Boying participants selected by Catalysts 28. 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.

This is an open event and registration is free. 

Please note we are unable to arrange car parking facilities for visitors hence please request to make your travel plans accordingly. Children below 18 years of age need to be accompanied by a parent.
