By the end of the Speaking Module, learners will be able to:

  •  Explore the IELTS Speaking test and learn how to improve test performance
  • Investigate in detail the three parts of the IELTS Speaking test and learn about the four criteria that will be used to assess spoken English

 Writing Module

  • Explore the IELTS Writing test and develop strategies for each type of task
  • Investigate the language needed for a successful answer in Task One
  • Apply techniques to help plan, write and check academic essays in Task Two

Reading Module

  • Explore the IELTS Reading test format and learn about the different kinds of text they need to read
  • Develop learning strategies to help tackle different task types within the test, from multiple choice to true, false and not given
  • Apply techniques that will help cope with the kind of complex texts on unfamiliar topics 

Listening Module

  • Explore the IELTS Listening test and learn how to improve test performance
  • Develop learning strategies to help tackle the different types of tasks in the test
  • Apply general English listening strategies that will help deal with complex texts on unfamiliar topics 

Reading and writing Module

By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

  • Explore the IELTS Reading test format and learn about the different kinds of text you need to read
  • Develop learning strategies to help you tackle the different task types, from multiple choice to true, false, and not given
  • Apply techniques that will help you cope with the kind of complex texts on unfamiliar topics that you’ll meet in your IELTS studies
  • Explore the IELTS Writing test and develop strategies for each type of task

  • Investigate in detail the three parts of the IELTS Speaking test and learn about the four criteria that will be used to assess your spoken English
  • Apply techniques to improve your English speaking and to help you succeed
  • Ascertain your level of readiness for the IELTS exam through a Mock Test
